ine To Water is a nonprofit located in Boone, North Carolina that is dedicated to ending the World Water Crisis. This unique organization has a heart for service and a fierce commitment to providing needy people with clean drinking water. In my Social Media Strategies class, we were asked to create a social media campaign for Wine To Water. My group decided to create a campaign targeted at college-aged millennials that would bring awareness to the World Water Crisis and create a greater call to action for them to serve. The #withoutwater campaign challenges our target audience to track their daily water usage for a week. This tracking creates a better understanding of the abundance of available water, like the United States, as well as brings a greater awareness for people living in conditions where clean water is scarce. I created a promotional video for the campaign:
